Brewing Guide
Great coffee starts with great beans — but the magic happens in the brew. Here’s how to get the most out of your Brim Roasters coffee, no matter your preferred method.
Drip Coffee
Use 1–2 tablespoons of ground coffee per 6 oz of water. Medium grind works best. Brew at 195–205°F for a clean, balanced cup that highlights the bean’s natural flavors.
Cold Brew
Combine 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water. Steep in the refrigerator for 12–24 hours, then strain. Serve over ice for a smooth, low-acidity brew.
Espresso
Use a fine grind and 18–20g of coffee per double shot. Brew at 9 bars of pressure for 25–30 seconds. Look for a rich, golden crema — the hallmark of a perfect espresso.
French Press
Add 1 tablespoon of coarsely ground coffee per 4 oz of water. Pour hot water (just off the boil), stir gently, and steep for 4 minutes. Press slowly and enjoy a full-bodied, rich cup.
K-Cup Brewer
Simply insert your Brim Roasters K-Cup into your Keurig® brewer and select your preferred cup size. For a bolder flavor, choose a smaller cup size setting.
